The flap sensor was developed to measure the position and angle of the flaps. Thus the current flap position can be displayed to the pilot on the LX8xxx/LX9xxx or S8x/S10x. At the same time the optimum flap position is calculated, taking into account speed, the defined speed positions, wing loading, polar curve and G-loading!
