The MT™ midge cloth is made up of the same material as the normal midge fettler threads, which you use during the flight to keep the surface lug clean: namely from 100 % nylon. The cloth is neither too soft nor hard. Because it is wide-mashed it doesn’t clog and so it stays always ready for use.
The MT™ midge cloth isn’t adapted only for gliders, but also for airplanes, ultra light aircrafts and the windscreens of the cars, but not for Plexiglas!
