The window seals usual in trade are too soft, they let air pass through or suck up water!

Using this sealing tape your dream of faster glider assembly (if tangential clearance is not too high) is no longer a dream in most cases. It is fixed between fuselage and wing (or wing and winglet). After assembly of the glider the tape is pressed together and due to its rigid consistence a relatively smooth surface comes up.

CAUTION, the leading edge area has to be covered using normal adhesive tape when using bugwipers, otherwise the cleaning thread will get stuck easily!
