The antenna is developed specially for glass-reinforced plastic-planes. It was so constructed, that it gets his optimal data by lamination in the GRP-material or adhesive bonding.

On the drawing you can see, that the antenna has to be adhesive bonded by the length of approx. 90-95 cm. The vertical transducers should continue upright in approx. 67cm from the whole lenght. By the mounting of the antenna in side rudder of the horizontal stabilizer should not the feedthroughs for the cable be measured too narrow, so that the cable will not be by and by rubbed through the rudder throw.

By aircraft in mixed construction of GRP-planes, Carbon fiber reinforced polymer-planes, resp. pure CFRP-planes should be the vertical transducer applied when removed, because they can powerful influence the radiation pattern.
