The club version provides a very affordable introduction to state-of-the-art variometer technology. This is particularly interesting for clubs. Some software options are not activated, but these can easily be installed later.
These are the following functions:

• Airspace display
• Task navigation with sectors
• Digital inputs, e.g. landing gear warning, airbrake warning,...
• Individual pilot profiles

The S8 is a stand-alone variometer with target speed, GPS input and PDA/PNA output (two-seater option).

The Variometer S0 from LXNAV is a stand-alone digital vario with target speed sensor and final glide computer - With GPS input and PDA/PNA interface - The sunlight-readable 2.5" display is very easy to read in all lighting conditions - Three pushbuttons and two rotary switches with pushbutton function are used to set all parameters and for menu selection. - Integrated inertial platform (MEMS technology) - Flarm displays (when Flarm is connected as a GPS source) - Flight log function - Second display with pushbuttons and rotary switches can be connected for two-seater operation

Some useful values can also be read on the varioscale, e.g. average climb (red diamond), set McCready value (blue arrow) and climb over the updraft (green T). Comparing these three values makes it easier to assess the current climb and the McCready value.
