The overshoes are worn over normal street shoes. The front entry in combination with the double-row Velcro fasteners allows for quick and easy donning.
The additional sewn-on sole made of durable nylon fabric provides reliable protection against abrasion, allowing the SkyBoots™ to be worn and put on easily next to the aircraft.

Tried and tested?

SkyBoots™ have been tested in Argentina. Pilots such as Wolfgang Janowitsch, Hermann Trimmel and Peter Hartmann have been relying on them for years. Many users report that heated insoles have become superfluous as a result.

Material & Construction

Outer: robust polyester and cotton blend fabric, hard-wearing and durable. Sole: particularly abrasion-resistant, coated nylon material with slip-resistant surface. Inner: soft microfleece made from 100% polyester, pleasantly warm and skin-friendly. Insulation: 100 g/m² lightweight polyester padding provides reliable warmth without adding bulk.

What size?

SkyBoots™ are soft overshoes. Similar to a sleeping bag, they adapt to the shoe and the environment and give way at contact points. Therefore, there is no such thing as a “too large” size in the classic sense: the warmth is generated by the insulating air cushion inside the SkyBoots™.

Size recommendation:

• Size 38–42
  Suitable for shoe sizes up to EU 42.
  If you have a narrow EU 43 shoe size, this size may still fit, as they are generously cut.

• Size 43–46
  Fits securely up to EU 46.
  For shoes without very voluminous soles, they can also be used up to EU 48.

Important note on fit: The actual fit depends not only on the EU shoe size, but also significantly on shoe volume, sole thickness, and design. Particularly thick or heavily profiled soles may limit the maximum usable size.
