On long flights lasting several hours, even the best and most modern battery will not last for the entire duration of the flight. Switching is the order of the day. But this is often not so intuitive or easy. Our UPS (uninterruptible power supply) provides a remedy. It monitors the voltage applied to the avionics electronically and switches on the main battery for 500 ms if a voltage drop is detected. Fully automatic and safe, for a stress-free flying experience.
