It is particularly suitable for installation in air sports equipment, LSA and balloons, so it can also be installed in structures with little to no mass (counterweight). The antenna can also be installed on plastic and other non-metallic surfaces. This is possible thanks to the dipole technology. The lower element, the second pole, is directed 165 mm inwards and serves as a counterweight, which is why this antenna does not require a groundplane.
